It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Lovera (Krebs, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Lovera and Madeline Lovera of Krebs Oklahoma; and his aunt Mary Pliska of Krebs, OK.. He is survived by: his children, Rachel and Giovanni; his wife Domenica Lovera (Finamore) of McAlester, OK; his children-in-law, Shawn Duffy of Hartshorne, OK and Mollie Lovera of Oklahoma City, OK; his daughter Oriana Lovera; his son-in-law Benjamin Kaufman of Santa Monica, CA; his brother Michael; his sister-in-law Mary Lovera; his sister Mary Christina Lovera; his mother-in-law Waunell Finamore; his grandsons, Matteo Lovera, Atticus and Liam Duffy; his cousins, Mary Cogan, Mary Lucille Pliska and Orly Cogan; and his nieces and nephews, Dominic (Carrie Barone), Chris (Merrilee Barone), Anthony Buller, Jan Buschman, Thomas Buschman, Michael (Malarie Lovera), Alisha (Jimmy Baker), Maria (Tony Liu) and Catherine (Christina Lovera). He is also survived by cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a memorial fund at First National Bank of McAlester in Sam Lovera's name to be distributed among local non-profits and for education.
