He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Johnson and Patsy Johnson (Howdeshell). He is survived by: his brothers, Charles W. Johnson of Savanna, Neil Johnson (Cathy) of McAlester and Steve Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri; his nieces and nephews, Neil Johnson, Jr., Ashley Denney, Shayla Miller and Caleb Burkhardt; and his great-nephews, Riley Duvalt, Ethan Denney and Kash Miller. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other family members, and friends.
