He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrl Kerns and Leona Kerns (Beams); and his siblings, Billy Edward Kerns, Herman C. "Keat" Kerns and Betty Ruth Reagan.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kerns; and his children, Ken Kerns (Dawn), Robert Kerns (April), Andy Kerns, Alissa Carmany (Mike), Karye Wilson and Chris Wilson (Lisa). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
