She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Brooks; her son Mark Brooks; and her stepmother Rosetta Walters. She is survived by: her grandson Floyd "Bubba" Brooks; her great grandchild Amelia Brooks; her sisters, Redia Doyle (Eugene), Linda Cox (Raymond) and Brenda Polansky (Tom); and her daughter-in-law Debra Schoggins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
