She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Bennett Whitmire and Lottie Bell Whitmire (Hood); her husband Carroll Golden; her son Gary Wayne Golden; and her son-in-law Patrick Reamy, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Scherman (Don) and Gail Reamy (Barry Howell); and her grandchildren, Donny Ray Scherman, Melissa Hamilton, John Golden, Carroll W. Golden, Racheal McCraw, Heather Reamy, Miranda Reamy and Adrianne Smith. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
