He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Franklin and Lettie Mae Barnard (Nicholson); and his siblings, Ralph, Lloyd Barnard and Alta Mae Orr.
He is survived by: his wife Candace Barnard (Wang); his sons, Ronald Leroy Barnard (Regina) and Andrew Leroy Barnard (Jacqueline); and his siblings, Dennis Barnard and Grace Hoepner. He is also survived by sons and nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
