He was predeceased by: his parents, Burrell L. Coggins, Sr. and Eunice White Coggins; his son Leslie Ruel Coggins; and his brothers, Thomas "Tom" Coggins and Lawrence Coggins.
He is survived by: his wife Delores "Dee" Coggins; his sons, Jim Coggins (Dnarda) of Cheney, Kansas, Mike Coggins (Shana) of Kiowa, Kansas, Charles Coggins (Cheris) of Anthony, Kansas and John Coggins (Kristi) of Kiowa, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Savanah, James, Kyle (Britni), Chelsz (Will), Cesley (Derrick), Christopher (Gabby), Codey, Caitlin, Cole, Dane, Brayden and Brantlee; his great grandchildren, Reignie, Imogyn, Jad, Jimmer, Kaymden, Grace and Devon; and his brother Harley Coggins (Carol) of Aransas Pass. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
