He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice; his children, Michael Battles (Donola) of Kiowa and Monica Palmer (Calvin) of Durant; his grandchildren, Brandon Battles (Breanna), Allison Schnizer (Andy), Dave Thornburg (Elizabeth), Dani Spencer, Megan Wesley (Scottie), Miranda Lowe (Kyle), Alex Palmer, Anna Sindland (Ozzie), Callie, Cordell, Andy, Cammie, Mitchell, Moriah, Collin and Ashleigh Palmer; his brother Walter Battles of Savanna; his niece Renae Jeffreys; and his nephew Bill Taylor. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
