He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmons Bannister Collier, Jr. and Lois Lorenne Collier (Barlow); and his brothers, Ernie, Leon and Casey Collier.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Jo Collier; his children, Kristen Burnette, Russell J. Dempsey, Dena Morris and Slade Smith; his grandchildren, Bethany Kendall, Codi Kendall, Ricky Burnette, Dylan Dempsey and Levi Dempsey; his sister-in-law Lucy Collier; and his niece Casey Ann Collier. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ash Creek Baptist Church.
