It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Jackson Rankins of Kinta, Oklahoma, born in Wagoner, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lora Pearl Rankins (Scroggins) and Earnest Thomas Rankins; his siblings, Gene of Lester, J. R., Marvin, Danny and Wanda Fay Carpenter; his daughter Diana Rankins; and his grandson Mickey Lee Scroggins Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Doris Lee Rankins; his son Dennis (Amanda Rankins); his grandchildren, William Rankins Jr. (Kristy) of Kinta, OK, Levi Walton of Beggs, OK, Alexes Rankins (Blake Ross), Breanna Rankins (Jarod Jones) and Denise Rankins of Wagoner, OK; and his sister Mary Jo Burnett. He is also survived by five great-granddaughter and four great-grandsons, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of extended family.
