He was predeceased by: his wife Krista Jo Poteet (Tucker) of Kinta; his father Jerry Guy Poteet, Sr.; his daughter Jaylynn Poteet; his uncle Wayne King (Sandra); his nephew Harley Wokaty; his uncle Joe Percifield; and his grandparents, Mercedes King (Amos), Vanus King, Ted Poteet and Gloria Poteet (VanCleve).
He is survived by: his mother Sandy L. Poteet (King) of Stigler; his children, Amber Dawn Carlile Baldwin (Deric) of Stigler and Jerrad Daniel Poteet (Paige) of Lequire; his brother Mike Hunt (Amanda) of Kinta; and his grandchildren, Shawn Baldwin, Oliver Poteet, Jayden Poteet, Token Carlisle and Kayson Carlisle. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, great-nephews and nieces.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the King & Shearwood Funeral Home (808 E Main St, Stigler, OK 74462).
