She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hayes and Nancy Hayes (Hulsey); her daughter Lesa Whitehead; her siblings, Juanita Terry, Barbara Callum, Bill, Buddy, Jimmy and David Hayes; and her son-in-law Billy Shell.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Mathews; her children, Nancy Shell of Kinta and Bill; her daughter-in-law Terina Mathews of Kinta; her grandchildren, Ryan (Rachelle Whitehead), Zack (Ashley Whitehead), Pasha (Steven Mack), Rhett (McKinnah Shell), Austyn Jo Mathews and Jeremy Honold; her great grandchildren, Kaylie, Emery, Chloe, Haze and Zane; and her siblings, Carolyn Brown of Tulsa, Skip (Faye Hayes), Tom Hayes of Poteau and Orville (Della Hayes).
