He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence William Taylor and Vera Johnson Taylor; and his siblings, Jerry, Royce, Robert Taylor, Vicky Barnes and Sally Sue Harrington.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Taylor; his children, Tim Taylor (Charlotte), Rhonda Taylor (Ron Rigell), Leslie Nelson, Elise DeLaCruz (Ruben), Cheryl Pruitt (Robert) and Rebecca Elkins (Robby); his brothers, Winston Taylor (Janie) and Richard Taylor (Linda); his grandchildren, Jacob Nelson, Garrett Nelson, Chris Taylor (Taylor), Crystal Avery (Joe), Cobey Taylor, Britni Carrigo, MaRyssa McCoy and Bryson McGregor; and his great grandchildren, Julianne Avery, RJ McCoy, Brody McCoy, Saelar McCoy, Sophia Bigbie and Landyn Bigbie.
