He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gordon Matheny and Helen Matheny; his wife Shirley Jo Combest; his daughters, Kim Matheny (JR) and Kelly Pankratz (Jim); his brothers, Terry Matheny and Larry Matheny (Sharon); his siblings-in-law, Don Combest (DeeDee), Mike Combest (Cynthia) and Lisa Conley (Shawn); and his grandson Joseph Goodwin. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, grand nieces, nephews, grand nephews and cousins.
