He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel John and Julian M. Smith; and his wife Pat Ramsey. He is survived by: his family, Kim, Steve Spradling of Rowlett, Kelly, Dan Winn of Roanoke, Bart and Kelsey Smith of Melissa; and his grandchildren, Brett (Katherine) of Richardson, Ramsey of Gunter, McKayla of Orlando, FL, Katy of Gunter and Barton of Anna.
