He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Howard Smith and Jewel Dean Smith (Jackson); his former wife Betty Smith; his wife Marty Smith; and his brother J. C. Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Jewel Dean Oldsnodorf of Indiana and Glen Howard of Arizona; and his siblings, Juanita McDonald of New Mexico, Jack Smith (Wilma) and Leon Smith of Kingston, OK. He is also survived by four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, other extended family and many friends.
