He was predeceased by: his father Charles Edward Sanders; his granddaughter Astrid Lynn Mallett; and his father-in-law Marion (H. L. Stone). He is survived by: his mother Virginia Jane Wilson Sanders; his daughters, Summer Dawn Vondrak (Dylan) and Samantha Kay Sanders (Seth Mallett); and his siblings, Bill Lynn Sanders (Shirley), Vanessa Jane Sanders Bevel (James) and Corona Lou Finley (Mike).
