She was predeceased by: her parents, Stan Strait and Ida Strait (Evans); her husband Loren Lewis Newell; her siblings, Bonnie Buffalo, Joseph Delmar Strait, Francis Marion "Dutch" Strait and Edwin Strait; her son-in-law Garold Post; and her great grandchild Evan Dean Haxton.
She is survived by: her children, Micha Leah Newell-Post of Kingfisher, OK and Deborah Gae Newell-Scott (Randy) of Florissant, Colorado; her granddaughter Leah Gae Post-Haxton (Greg) of Blanchard, OK; her children, Jenny Scott-Coleman (Ron) of Colorado Springs, CO, Lanie Post-Lovelace (Steve) of Edmond, OK, Holly Scott-Webb (Scott) of San Diego, CA, Laun Post of Kingfisher, OK and Randy Scott (Laci) of Colorado Springs, CO; and her siblings, Harlan Strait of Jet, OK and Charlotte Slaving of Nash, OK.. She is also survived by twelve Great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and several life-long friends.
Memorials may be made to Valir Hospice or New Home Cemetery with Ladusau-Evans as custodian of the funds.
