It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Merton Carter Jr. of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Merton Carter, Sr. and Mildred Louisa Webber; and his brother Ronald Douglas Carter. He is survived by: his children, David C. Carter (Tracy Mae Carter) and Cheryl E. Carter of Denver, CO.; his grandchildren, Amethyst Dawn Carter, Alisha Marie Carter, Candace Randall (Prewitt), Brandy Randall Ayers and Cassandra Nicole Randall; and his great grandchildren, Jacen Wayne Kochenower, Sylis Adrian Scott Bonn, Emrys Raiden Kelley, Evan Taylor Carter, Lola Prewitt, Kaylee Lynn Randall, Jayden Carter Fudge and Lenora Delaplain.
