He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Allen and Bertha Allen; his spouse Minta Sue Barnes; and his siblings, Lela, Mary Ellen, Betty, Fred Jr., Bill, Cecil, Jackie and John.

He is survived by: his daughter Paula Bennett (Robert) of Loveland; his grandsons, Cameron, Drew and Bryce; and his brother David.
