He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Malcolm and Dorothy Virginia Hamby (Shreeve); and his uncle Thomas Shreeve. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hamby; and his children, Gene Anderson of San Diego, CA., David Hamby of Baltimore, MA., Wanda Bedard of Phoenix, VA., Kevin Hamby of Chesapeake, VA., Thomas Hamby of Muskogee, OK. and Pamela Hamby of Richmond, VA.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
