He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Nichols and Nettye Wilson Nichols; and his siblings, Wallace Larry Nichols, Ernie Glenn Nichols and Wilma Nichols Hatfield.
He is survived by: his sister Rheva Wells (Dan); and his nieces and nephews, David Hatfield, Myron Nichols, Michael Wells, Stephen Wells, Sheryl Doornbos, Nicole Alexander, Sharon Grotlisch and Amy Monroy. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
