With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leon Leverett of Kellyville, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie I. Leverett and J. W. Leverett; his wife Wanda Leverett; his children-in-law, Noel Lemons and Sun Ae Leverett; and his granddaughter Callie Leverett.
He is survived by: his siblings, Doyal Leverett of Bristow, Lennie and Maudine; and his children, Gail Leverett-Wiley of Duson, Doye Leverett (Rebecca) of Lafayette, Johnny Leverett of Bristow and Deena Lemons of Kellyville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Traditions Funeral Chapel (35 Main St, Kellyville, OK 74039). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Traditions Funeral Home (35 Main St, Kellyville, OK 74039).
