He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Ray Kellogg and Dianna Wilson; his brother Monte Russell Sr.; his grandmother Gladys Wilson; and his uncle Junior Gibson.
He is survived by: his children, Lando Russell Jr. (Mary) of Georgia, Angela Russell (David White) of Tulsa and Nina May Dye (Joshua) of Prague, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Katey, Caleb and Jensen; and his sisters, Shari Golden and Lori Russell.
