He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Leah Angie Minton (Arnold); his children, Jack and Atonda; his grandchildren, Jeremy Taylor, Chelsea Marie Minton and Jada Mea Owens; and his siblings, Florence Scroggins, Donald Ray, Mike, Bobby, Kenneth, Ronnie, Richard, Terry and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Atonda; and his children, Billy Edwards (Annette) of Jennings, Daniel Galbrath (Veronica) of Texas, Wendi Reed of Oilton, Stacy Formanski (Ian) of Tecumseh, Kathy Smith (Joe) of Sapulpa, Brian Minton (Christi) of North Dakota, Carl Reed (Leslie) of Kellyville, Jeramie Starks of Sperry and Amanda Owens (Ashley) of Kellyville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
