She was predeceased by: her parents, Lytle H. Asplin and Minnie Asplin (Johnson); her husband Walter Barton; her daughter Jeannie; and the parents of child, Lytle and Minnie Asplin.
She is survived by: her sons, Walter Edward Barton, Jr. (Mary Elaine) of Midlothian, VA and Chester Barton (Sue) of Kellyville, OK; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Cook, Ann Cain, Diane Acklin, Carolyn Barton, Bev Barton and Glen Barton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the View Chapel (621 E 5th St, Mountain View, MO 65548). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
