He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tonye; his children, Gary Briscoe (Erica), Cheryl Barnes (Frank Morrison), Sandy Crall, Jerry Jones (Cera) and Tina Ripple (Reggie); his grandfather Poppy; his son Frankie Briscoe; his mother Eula McGuire; his siblings, Paul Holland, Art Holland, Ruth Hampton, Ruby Swan, Francis Luper and Mary Boyd; and his pet Big Dawg. He was also cherished by his 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
