He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross McGuire and Minnie McGuire; his siblings, Donald, Edgar, Delphia Houston and Elsie Treadwell-Tawater; and his great grandchildren, Neveah Nance and Maci McGuire.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Lorene; his sister Joyce McGuire; his children, Dana Thornton, Mark McGuire (Terri), Scott McGuire (Nickole) and Ross McGuire (Angie); his grandchildren, Mandy Asher, Dani James, Elise Poynor, Sara Nance, Kelly McGuire, Cody McGuire, Taylor Barnett, Dillon McGuire, Garrett McGuire, Ashlyn Jones and Lucas Jones; and his great grandchildren, Quinton, Bailey, Ayden, Isabella, Gavin, Dawson, Laetyn, Rowan, Benjamin, Kimber, Addison and Haddie.
