He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Fidler and Grace Fidler; and his sister Wanda Fidler. He is survived by: his friend Bill Davis; his wife Dorothy Ann Fidler; his son Jim Fidler; his children-in-law, Heather Fidler and Leland; and his daughter Tish Tate. He is also survived by niece, nephew, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
