“My thoughts and prayers are for my second family, the James Levi Tipton family. Mr. Tipton was my first mentor. He spent time with us, Levi Jr., Charles and myself. Him and his brother Dewitt taught us baseball and we played all around Green Pastures and the neighboring communities. Took me to my first bowling experience in his blue and white Malibu. I still don’t know how he got all of us in that car., but he did it. Mr. Tipton you will not be forgotten. Ronnie Gill”
