It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Slate (Jenks, Oklahoma), born in Chadron, Nebraska, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mark Booth and Anna Kestena Booth (Peterson); and her siblings, Janice Hansen, Emery Booth and Caroline.
She is survived by: her husband James B. Slate of Haskell, OK; her daughter Debra Wilson; her granddaughter Lorie McMaster (Sam) of Midway, AR; and her siblings, Rosalie Kelly, Dave Booth and Ruby Robbins. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
