He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert (Velma Gilbert) and Jerry. He is survived by: his son Brett Gilbert (Kitty Gilbert) of Jenks; his grandson James Hartman; his child Christie Kendrick (David Kendrick) of Tulsa; and his grandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Benjamin and Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Oklahoma City Rescue Mission or the United Way.
