He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Dewey and Emma McLaughlin (Bayans); and his siblings, Oliver Dewey McLaughlin, Jr., Garland D. McLaughlin and Helen Vernie Green (McLaughlin).
He is survived by: his wife Rose Gwendolyn McLaughlin (Martin); and his daughters, Terry Kumor (Micheal), Diana Jeffries (Charles) and Lori Harmon (Richard). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
