He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Black and Mildred Black (Hightower). He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Black (Medlin); and his children, Jason Black (Shanna) of Coweta, Shelly Gorgan (Joe) of Athens and Tammy Bell (Jeremy) of Athens, Texas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter.
