He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jackson Horton Sr. and Jeanette Gertrude Horton (Seamans); and his brothers, Earl Jackson Horton Jr. (Jack), Edward Lee Horton (Windy), Ross Herman Horton and Bobby Franklin Horton.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Wade Horton (Danny); his wife Pauline Adeline Carpenter; his daughter Darleen Anne Holly (Doug) of Decatur, AR; his grandsons, Joshua Levi Holly (Lindsey) and Ethan Andrew Holly (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Jade Claire Holly, Case Levi Holly, Rinley Jean Holly, Stetson Glen Holly and Truett Andrew Holly.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Southwest City (719 N Main St, Southwest City, MO 64863). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Southwest City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital or to Disabled American Veterans c/o the funeral home.
