It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Junior Sharp of Jay, Oklahoma, born in Delaware, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Sharp and Lucy Cheater-Sharp; his son Marty Sharp; his siblings, Charlie Sharp, Thomas Sharp, Archie Sharp, Stanley Sharp and Gladys Hillderbrand; his grandchildren, John Strogstill (Chris Teel) and Cassie Jumper; and his brother-in-law Gary Manning.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Sharp of Spavinaw, OK, Lisa Sharp of Jay, OK, Tilitha Jumper (Leonard) of Jay, OK, Alica Sharp of Montana, Charla Sharp of Jay, OK, Doug Manning of Jay, OK, Jackson Stogstill, Dave Smith of Grove, OK, Brandon Sharp of Jay, OK and Victor Swake of Stilwell, OK; his sister Nancy Letonsa of Portland, OR; and his brothers-in-law, James Manning (Faye) of Chance, OK, Carl Manning of Chance, OK, John Manning of Chance, OK and Harold Dean Morris of Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
