He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Shotpouch and Jewel Faye Chopper Shotpouch; his wife Connie Shotpouch; his siblings, Jackson Shotpouch and Mary Shotpouch-Hudson; and his sister-in-law Gwen Shotpouch.

He is survived by: his children, April Marie Shotpouch of Lincoln, Jaden Shotpouch of Fort Hood, Diego Shotpouch of Vinita, Alana Shotpouch, Tia Shotpouch and Ty Shotpouch of Jay, Oklahoma; his stepchildren, Jennifer Dick and Todd Jones; his grandchildren, Addie Braxton, Cassidy, Callie, Casey and Rhiannon; his siblings, Melvina Shotpouch of Jay, OK, Michael Shotpouch (Tenna) of Jay, OK, Helen Demoss (Harold) of Tahlequah, OK, Sarah Adams (Jack) of Jay, OK, Deanna Shotpouch and Durwin Shotpouch (Chum) of Jay, OK; his siblings-in-law, Bob Hudson of Bristow, OK and Pam Shotpouch of Jay, OK; and his close friend Ron Bledsoe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
