He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Tanner and Della Mae Guess-Tanner; his brother Lewis Tanner; his stepsister Mary Summerfield; and his granddaughter Alyassa Tanner.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Potter of Oklahoma City, OK, Santo Tanner of Florida, Jackson Tanner of Jay, OK, Alisha Hernandez of Siloam Springs, AR, Wendell Tanner of Jay, OK, Byron Tanner of Jay, OK and Ashley Borjes of Jay, OK; his close friend Annie Black; and his siblings, John Tanner (Ruby) of Jay, OK, Daniel Tanner of Tahlequah, OK, Michael Tanner (Carol) of Utah, Minnie Kaye (Dan) of Tulsa, OK, Martha Tanner of Jay, OK and Regina Fouse (Eldon Rhodes) of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
