He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Grace Johnston (Ward) and Victor Johnston; and his brother Doyle Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Johnston; his children, Benjamin Johnston (Presley Brecheisen), Mary Bowman (Trevor) of Jay, OK and Tara Wright of Kalispell, MT; and his sister LaJune Johnston-Grove of Williamsburg, VA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
