It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Catherine Johnston (Jay, Oklahoma), born in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on March 18, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Griffith and Eva Griffith; her husbands, Charles William Bishop and Russell Lee Nokes; and her great grandchildren, Kendall Bishop and Jade Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Bishop of Tulsa, OK, Sherry Taylor (Charlie) of Rogers, AR, Patty Bergen (Matthew) of Granby, MO, Stephen Nokes, Fiance and Mia of Joplin, MO; her sister Wilma Bloom (Dean) of Medicine Lodge, KS; her pet Cockatiel Bird; and her close friend Linda Boyle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
