She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Buchanan and Esther Buchanan (Munson); her husband Eddie Coats; her siblings, Robert Buchanan and Virginia DePuy; her son-in-law Darrell Harp; and her grandchildren, Michael Davis and Valerie Coats.
She is survived by: her brother Woodrow Buchanan Jr. (Jackie) of Washington; her sister-in-law Sondra Hostin (Richard) of California; her children, Doris Rhoads (Coats) of Jay, Debra Davis (Steven) of Jay, James Coats (Vicky) of Grove and Donna Harp (Coats) of Miami; and her grandchildren, David Blevins (Krystal), Jeffrey Blevins (Holly), Jason Davis (Melissa), Krystal Sharwarko (Nick), Jaime Coats, Cody Wood (Chele) and Randy Harp (Rachel). She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
