He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lucas and Mildred Lucas (Lawrance); his daughter Jessica McNeal; and his brothers, Ivan Lucas and Jim Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Maranda Lucas; his children, Joseph Dwayne Lucas of Isabella, Derik I. Lucas of Enid, Jerry Scholten of Enid, Bobbie Jo Lumpkin of Enid, Cynthia Cordon of Norman and Angel Rich of Norman; and his siblings, Scott Lucas, Marilyn Ruffin and Oletta Kerk. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
