It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Modena Dennett of Inola, Oklahoma, born in Hartford, Arkansas, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Janice departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kemp and Nellie Kemp; and her siblings, Mary Copeland, Jimmy Kemp, Karron Kemp, Lavern "Glen" Kemp and Larry Kemp.

She is survived by: her children, Belinda Wood (Dennis), David Journeay (Marla), Jana Journeay and Kevin Journeay; and her sisters, Bettye "Darlene" Duncan and Ella Loraine "Raina" Brons (David).

A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139).
