She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Rather and Lena Rather; her husband Dave McGowan; her son Brad McGowan; her grandson Benjamin Stuebing; her mother-in-law Willie McGowan Those; her sons, David Scott McGowan and Brian Keith McGowan (Darla); and her sister Donna Moore.

She is survived by: her son Bradley Kenneth.
