She was predeceased by: her parents, Elige D. Thomas and Jesse Mae Thomas (Ellington); her husband Fred Lawson; her siblings, L. C. "Buzz" Thomas, Ruthie Mae Lane, Margie Creager and Anna Merle Thomas; and her siblings-in-law, Charlotte Dickinson and Vernon Lawson (Leona).
She is survived by: her son Steve Lawson (Susan) of Crowder; her grandchildren, Kimberly Hart (John) of Kure, John Lawson (Tabitha) of Indianola and Timothy Lawson (Whitney) of Dewar; her great grandchildren, Kate Hart, Hailey Whitlock, Alex Whitlock, Lily Hart, Maddix Lucero, Blakley Lawson, Gracyn Lawson, Josiah Lawson and Braxley Lawson; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Lawson (Carol) of Canadian and Vernon Dickinson of Shawnee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
