She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Mary Teafateller (Whitener); and her siblings, Anita Burns, Mary Reynolds and Roy Teafateller.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Harjo; her daughters, Melissa Edwards of Harleton, Mendy Evans (Paul) of Sulphur Springs and Misty Morris of Clearview, Oklahoma; and her brother James Teafateller (Terry) of Checotah. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
