He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Jefferson and Eva Lee Carter (Smith); his wife Pamela Carter; and his brother Jimmie Carter. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Chance (Amy), Trent, Kaylee, Lance, Gabriel, Tristan, Wyatt and Selena; his great grandchildren, Madi and Jameson; his nephew Dane Carter (Heather); his great-niece Lola; his niece Dawn Doak (Robert); his sister-in-law Linda Carter; and also, Ginger Lemons and Pam Morris. He is also survived by his six children.
