She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Bates and Jennie Bates; and her daughter Jennifer Friend. She is survived by: her brother Larry; her sister-in-law Olive Bates; and her nieces and nephews, Justin of Gilmer, TX and Ryan of Gilmer, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Chapel (3 NE 3rd St, Idabel, OK 74745). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Tom Cemetery (Tom, OK 74740).
