We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2023, at the age of 80, Josephine Murl Payne-Rhea of Idabel, Oklahoma, born in Farris, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Townsend Townsend and Vallie Hicks Townsend; her husband Dr. Thomas Rhea; her siblings, Charles Townsend, Harmon Townsend and Louise; her brother-in-law Smoke Bonnett; and her close friend Mary Mills.
She is survived by: her sister Pamela Sander (Randy); and her close friend Virginia Michaels of Paris, TX. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Gideons, St. Jude's, Shriner's or a church of your choice.
