He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Vass Privette (Bernice Privette) and Marjorie (Tip Trueblood). He is survived by: his niece Candace; his nephew Cass; his wife Cathy Privette; his pet Ella of Branson, Missouri; his children, Whit Privette (Tina) of Branson, Ashley Oliver (Vance) of Charleston and Jennifer Dunaway (Ron) of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Trace Privette (Kymiyon Gray) of Shreveport, Chance Privette of Fallon, Erin Oliver of Charleston, Mackenzie Duncan (Matthew Gilmore) of Glenpool and Evan Oliver (Anna) of Mattoon, Illinois; and his sisters, Robbie Kazenmaier (Klaus) of New Orleans and Betty B. Trueblood of Brandon, Florida.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the McCurtain County Veterans Museum in Joe's honor.
